English Teachers' Forum: Afternoon Workshop - March 9, 2013

Macmillan Publishers is sponsoring a free workshop for the English Teachers' Forum on the afternoon of March 9th 2013.

The Presenter:



Dorothy Zemach is an author, editor, teacher, and teacher trainer in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT). She taught English, French, and Japanese for over 18 years in Asia, Africa, and the US and holds an MA in TESL from the School for International Training in Vermont.

Now she concentrates on writing and editing English language teaching materials and textbooks and conducting teacher training workshops. Her areas of specialty and interest include teaching writing, teaching reading, business English, academic English, testing, and humor. She is a frequent plenary speaker at international conferences, and a regular blogger for Teacher Talk at Azar Grammar.

A free workshop, sponsored by Cambridge University Press is being held on the morning of March 9th, 2013 for the English Teachers Forum.

Presented by:
Peter Lucantoni
Peter Lucantoni has had a long career in English language teaching and teacher training in Europe and the Middle East. He is the author and co-author of several popular coursebooks for students, including IGCSE English as a Second Language Levels 1 and 2, and IGCSE English as a Second Language Exam Preparation Guide, both published by Cambridge University Press. He is currently writing one level of and is series editor for a new three-level course for secondary school learners, due to be published by Cambridge University Press. Peter has also published with Pearson, Hodder-Murry, Macmillan and Garnet Education. He is the Cambridge University Press Regional Teacher Trainer for the Middle East and North Africa, and regularly speaks at ELT conferences and trains teachers internationally in both the public and private sectors. He is a course tutor for Cambridge CELTYL, CELTA & DELTA, is an assessor for Cambridge CELTYL, and an examiner for Cambridge speaking examinations.
