Synopsis:
Nothing is more rewarding for a teacher, than seeing students smile and laugh while they learn. Using music in the classroom is a great way for teachers to achieve success with English language learners. There are a variety of different ways to use music in the classroom. In this hands-on interactive workshop teachers will explore different ways to incorporate music, songs and lyrics into their lessons. 

Presented by:

Laila Arif  holds BA in English Literature, Purdue University (USA) and an MA in TESOL from University of London (UK). She is fluent in Arabic, English, Italian and French. Since 1992 she has been active in EFL teaching and upgrading of Libyan teachers in the public and private sectors, offering support to where needed to obtain good quality teaching for the future generations of Libya. She is also co-founder of the English Teachers Forum, Libya. She's now the Educational Consultant at ISM International School, Tripoli, Libya  

Therese Martin (Khadija) has been living in Libya since 1989. She is a CELTA qualified teacher and director of English language courses at Almaqar IT & English Language Training in Tripoli. She co-founded the English Teachers' Forum in 2006.
